Therapist Positions:

1. Occupational Therapist (Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children, EIPIC)

Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy for young children (0 to 6 years) with special needs
- Assess occupational performance needs of young children with special needs
- Deliver therapy services either by direct therapy, consultation with teachers and
  parents, collaboration with teachers and parents, or by monitoring of child's progress.
- Work closely with intervention team in areas of assessment, goal development,
  intervention strategies and progress monitoring in a trans-disciplinary setting.
- Maintain documentation on clients' progress.
- Conduct in-service and parent workshop talks.
 
Requirements:
- MUST possess Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy from
  an institution recognized by the Ministry of Health under the Allied Health Professions Act.
- Have obtained Full Registration with Allied Health Professions Council
- Preferably with 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience
- Singaporeans only


2. Speech Therapist (Early Intervention Programme for Infant and Children, EIPIC)

Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy for young children (0 to 6 years) with special needs
- Assess oromotor, speech, language and functional communication skills & needs of young
  children with special needs
- Deliver therapy services either by direct therapy, consultation with teachers and parents, 
  collaboration with teachers and parents, or by monitoring of child's progress
- Work closely with intervention team in areas of assessment, goal development, intervention
  strategies and progress monitoring in a trans-disciplinary setting
- Maintain documentation on clients' progress
- Conduct in-service and parent workshop talks
 
Requirements:
- MUST possess Degree in Speech Therapy from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Health
  under the Allied Health Professions Act
- Have obtained Full Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council
- Preferably with 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience
- Singaporeans only


3. Physiotherapist (Home Care Services)

Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional assessment for patients during home visits and periodic reviews
- Participate in multi-disciplinary discussion with the homecare team
- Institute an appropriate and effective patient therapy treatment
- Formulate and implement the right modality therapies based on patient’s medical condition
- Evaluate interventions with appropriate outcome measures
- Provide consultation and expertise and refer to other healthcare professionals when necessary
- Collaborate with the homecare staff in clinical risk management of patients
- Assist with discharge planning and recommend right discharge therapy programme
- Document and maintain medical records of patients
- Maintain clinical standards regulated by MOH
- Maintain proper use of equipment and facilities

Requirements:
- Graduated with a recognised a degree from a local/overseas tertiary institution
- At least 2 years experience in a healthcare setting 
- Registered in Physiotherapy with the Allied Health Professions Council of Singapore
- Able to communicate with English and Chinese speaking clients
- Preferably proficient in various dialects to interact with the elderly


4. Occupational Therapist (Home Care Services)

Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for assigned caseload
- Assess and provide appropriate treatment to clients with neurological problems, orthopaedic or 
  musculo-skeletal problems, amputees, cardio-respiratory conditions, other medical conditions and 
  de-conditioned patients who require rehabilitation

- Provide pain relief through electro-physical agents such as hot and cold therapy, and other evidence
  based therapies

- Provide home assessments and provide advice on home modifications as required
- Prepares clients for community integration by taking them for community outings prior to discharge
- Maintain accurate and proper documentation of initial assessments, treatment goals and plans
  and clients’ progress

- Prescribe necessary appliances/aids for clients’ optimum function
- Provide caregiver’s training as required
- Participate in all clinical and documentation audits
- As a member of an interdisciplinary team, establish and maintain a working liaison with homecare 
  staff, giving feedback on clients’ progress, client care conferences and reviews

- Provide clinical coverage for other occupational therapists when the need arises
- Supervise therapy assistants/health attendants during client interventions to ensure established
  levels of safety and professionalism are met

- Manage and submit daily statistics on time on rehabilitative progress reports
- Responsible for the use of therapy equipment and to report any faults that may arise
- Continuing education through CME talks, via internal/external training 
- Participate in community outreach programs/ talks and workshops to public and community
- Assist in training programs for therapy assistants 

Requirements:
- Graduated with a recognised degree from a local/overseas tertiary institution
- At least 2 years experience in a healthcare setting
- Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council of Singapore
- Able to communicate with English and Chinese speaking clients
- Preferably proficient in various dialects to interact with the elderly
